    Exceptional charcoal drawing of a beautiful African-American teenager (who looks like a young Rihanna), expertly rendered in black and white pencil on a neutral slate green background. Signed “Alex” and dated 1965. Great presence to this portrait, which is both sweet and melancholy, simple yet haunting. Large format, measuring 15.5” by 12”, matted, under glass and in a rich oak wood frame, total dimensions 24.5” by 21.5”. This is one of the finest pieces of art I have offered.
